I have a 96 EB 4x4 and would prefer a B&M type ratcheting floor shifter.
Something like a vintage B&M Quick Click full ratcheting shifter like I had in my SBC Vega.
A newer version would be something like a B&M Pro Ratchet.
These types of shifters return to the center position after every shift

I have a solid axle from a Jeep under mine, leaf springs from a Chevy, transfercase shifter from a Bronco, transfercase from a Ranger, steering box from an F-150..........
Seems like a B&M shifter would be easy. Probably lose the center console for those of us with it.

I have heard there is no mechanical linkage to the factory shifter. It's run by wires. I heard they make a wiring harness kit for it but have no idea how to hook it up
