Flowmaster makes check engine light come on.

Recently i got a single in duel out Flowmaster put on my 2001 Sport 4.0 SOHC. The day i got it put on like about 6 hours later the check engine light came on. My friend told me to disconnect the battery for like 15 minutes and try it. It did go offbut like a few minutes it came back on. It was a cat back system so i thought maybe the o2 sensor was messed up. Any ideas would be great so contct me ok thanks.

You have to use an OBD II scanner to get them. If you don't have one, some auto parts stores will do a free scan for you.

i would think that maybe the exhaust shop guys did something to trip the CEL. it is (in theory) impossible for a cat-back exaust to throw a CEL... just my $0.02

They may have damaged an 02 sensor when they did the install. When you get the code, we will see.
