Im looking at a 40 series delta flow exhaust for my '97 V8. Two questions for the crew:

1). Is the pipe size 2 1/4 in and out, or should I go 2.5 in/out?

2). Is $79.99 a good price?

i paid $90 bucks special order for a 40 series single in dual out that was 2 1/4 (i think) from the ford racing store down in arlington.

so it sounds right.

if you can swing by a muffler shop and see if they tell you what size pipes you have. i think i might be 2.5.

www.flowmastermufflers.com has a PDF of all their muffler models. Check the 40 series. My 40 is 2-1/4" and it was $60 on Summit.
