flowmaster size

when you bought your flowmaster and put 2 1/2 inch pipes on it. Did you go with the 2 1/4 in flow master that their site recomends for the X or move up to the 2 1/2 in/outs?

I have personally never purchased an exhaust for my Explorer, but I would stick with the 2.25in pipe. For the V6 engine the 2.5in pipe would be too much. You'll lose too much back pressure and most of your low end torque. I made the same mistake with my old V6 S-10.
