ok so here is the plan, i'm running headers on a 4.0l ohv and i want to run a flowmaster 40 series delta flow, so i wont die from hearing the drone if i were to run the non delta. But here is my problem i want to dump it after the muffler with 2.25 piping, so my question is do i need to a muffler with 2.25 inlet and outlet to run the 2.25 piping or can i run the stock inlet and outlet size and still use the 2.25 in piping that i want.

2.25" tube is what you want.

I've read somewhere on this site that headers are not recommended for OHV. A waste of money better spent on something else. Go with a single tube 2.25 out back with your Flowmaster. It should have a sweet sound.

thanks
