hey, a few months ago i put in new fog lights because my old ones were busted up, so i bought what they call tractor lights. they worked great, but now they dont work, my toggle switch light still works. i checked my connections, but i dont know where the fog light fuse is. that would prolly help. lol

i have a 93 ford explorer, limited edition.

....didnt they only make limited in 94?

Somewhere there is a post of where each fuse is & what is does. Maby someone remembers what to search for....I don't.

Have you checked the voltage at (1) the switch and at (2) the lights?

4.0Rerolpxe,

How did you make out ?

sorry haven't been on in a while

i dont have voltage at the lights, but i do at the switch. i'm just gonna put it in the shop before i mess it up even worse

one more thing

the other night i was driving and the fog lights came on for a second and then my drivers side headlight blew, and they went back off.

Sounds like a fuse or a short.

Did you say take the vehicle back to the shop, did you do the install or have a shop do it ?

If a Shop did it then yes take it back, if not consider taking a voltage probe and checking the voltage along the complete electrical path. Write down the circuit and the voltage findings.
You said you had voltage at the switch but not the lights, so you have to trace the from the switch to hopefully a relay and then on to the lights.

The relay could be bad but why it blew out is in question, I would think it was just the rapid turning on and off, not a short but you will need to check it out before using the lights again just in case.

Did you replace the Stock Lights with the Tractor Lights or add the lighting with a new circuit ?
