Hi, my fog lights are not working on my explorer. Also my interor dome light switch and "Mode" button dosent work in my 94 Limited. I believe its supposed to tell the outside temp, and the direction your driving in the rearview, but there not working.
Is there a relay or fuse thats supposed to work these?
My fusebox dosent have a cover to tell me what fuse is for what

Any help would be appriciated. Thanks Guys

Welcome to the site.

Do a search, you should be able to find a diagram of the fuse box layout on this site.

You can also find this on the autozone website (scanned Chilton's repair manuals). Haynes manuals have good wiring diagrams.

Hope this helps.

Mike

I was replacing my right fog light and I shorted it out when putting it in the box. Where is the fuse for them? The owners manual does not indicate it.

Ok found it. Damned irritating that the manual doesn't list it, only as "open position".
It's #15 in the fuse box under the hood, a tiny 20amp fuse.

Regarding the temperature/direction indicator, I posted a fix some time ago on this site. Basically, on my unit the filter capacitors had failed so it sometimes came on and sometimes didn't. It's a rather simple repair if you have soldering equipment and experience. There are also a couple of tiny resistors that sometimes come loose that need to be re-soldered, but that wasn't the problem with mine.
