Hello everyone,
OK OK let me just say that i am a newbie to ford, i bought a ranger this year and it's the first Ford i have owned. i used to be a chevy guy( i might take some heat for that). But i have a '98 Ranger XLT 2wd and love it. It has 65,000 miles on it and is in pretty good shape.
It has a few minor things that i have had no luck in figuring out. Let me just post the first one and we can go from there.
I have 5- speed tranny and a black plastic/rubber shifter knob. This was loose when i got the truck. So i added a sticky coating to the inside of the knob. this worked fine for a while. but i would like to replace the knob. what is compatible with the ford ranger shifter. a mustang guy thought a '99 silver shifter would fit- but i don't think it will.
any suggestions?
