I'll have to check that site out when it comes back up. To me it really matters on how strict it is. I have a little 20 month old who occupies a lot of my time. I want to be able to go on runs, but not to be frowned upon when I can't.

Sikora, if my memory serves me right, this is basically a family oriented group. They don't do the nasty (fun) stuff that often, just trails, a little mud, and snow in the winter. Give them a shout. I'll email them when I get home. I have an 8 month old boy and is the reason why I got the four door in the first place. Wife wanted an Escape because they were "cute", nuh-uh. I had a 1999 Ranger OR Package, w/LS 4.10 rear. I miss it a little, but couldn't trust that damn passenger airbag switch to work, or not work. Love my son too much :o

Jay

Flip them an email and I think you're good to go with the kid and all. I'll give them a shout tonight and throw in the word for ya. We may have to hook up sometime, I've been out of the major loop for a bit, now have a little time to do this again.

Sounds good. Thanks for the info Jay. I'll check out their website and shoot them an email.

Just to let you know....I know it's a little late and all....but I find it much easier to put my son in my 95 2 door than my mom's 2002 4 door. On the 2 door...the front seat slides way up. Just a little info from past expieriences. Hit me up sometime, I have a group of a few buddies who like to go ridin to.

Really! I would have figured the opposite, but I could see that, didn't think about that! I play paintball during the summer so the four doors have already come in handy. I do notice the difference with the flat rear floor though. I have plenty of room for all my gear and the buddys'. Haven't used the roof rack.........yet!

PM me your email, and I'll do the same.

Jay

cough...off topic...cough cough...PM's...cough ;)

PM's

Implying something are we? Give it up Yeknom. Keep coughing and grab some Jack and Robitussin.

the badge on my vehicle says otherwise sparky!

Well isn't that the pot calling the kettle black. There you were crying awhile ago about folks on the board being smart a$$es. I actually agreed with you, shame on me, huh? I appologize, oh wise one. I had never heard of someone calling a 4 door XLS a sport. When I think of a sport I think of a 2 door model. I will gracefully exit.
SSIKORA, no disrespect intended your way. Thanks for correcting me without resorting to name calling. Before any Mods jump on me, I have total respect for the forum, I just had to get that off my chest.

what? huh? the 2003 4dr xls has a solid rear axle?! where who!? I think i need to sleep im confused.

When purchasing my ride, I looked in the brochure, pamphlet, booklet and the following models are available through the FoMoCo for the 2002 Explorer. Limited, Eddie Bauer, XLT, XLS Sport, and finally the XLS. What is underneath my name is what Ford designates it as, and that is what I put down, the truth.

Back to the New Bronco Really Fast

attachment.php

Check out the 2004 Bronco... (at least what they SHOULD look like) I know it was a few weeks back the comment was made, but in my opinion they should make the Bronco based on the Excursion not the Sport Track... - if they ever rerelease em :bounce:

Check out this thread for more on this topic...

nice with a V-10 :) Its still kinna big though. well wide but has solid axles front and rear. So easy to lift. i say f0rd should go for it. there is plenty of aftermarket support for excursion/super duty

I 100% agree... Id have to say I love my eXplorer, but if they started producing that bad boy Id be joining a Bronco Forum! Anyone wanna join me? I thinkIll drop a little letter to Ford today pledging my supprt. Haha. Not that 1 letter would make a difference, but we can dream can't we? :)

Just a thought on the GT40. If they really want to be successful, they will have a trade out program for old explorers. That way... I can have one. :)

If Ford comes out with a new Bronco I'm ready:D I own 4x4bronco.com :D

Yeah there is a sport package for the 4doors now. But it still has the IRS

Now Can't we all just get along :D

Well of course the Hummer is still in the picture but you know, Im not sure what to think about the new H2. I personally like the body of the original Hummer... Its seems like they made the H2 to be a Moms version... kinda weird.... i dunno.

If they rerelease the Bronco, It should be the same size as the original, maybe a little bigger, not expedition based, too damn big, Show me an Expedition running trails.
