Can anyone tell me what is up with companies these days??? I own a '98 Explorer 5.0L and it seems that companies mostly gear their products for the Explorer V-6 market.I am extremely interested in an air intake system to replace the airbox, and the K&N offers its FIPK only up to the V-6 engine. I am a bit apprehensive when it comes to KKM, because I just found out about this company not too long ago. If I purchase the FIPK for the 5.0 Mustang, will it fit well with my 5.0 engine? Logically it would. what do you guys think? or any experience? If that doesnt work, i think itll have to be KKM for me. IS the KKM TRUE-REV REALLY worth it? or should i just make the wholes at the bottom of my airbox and keep the EO(exemption number) given to K&N by the California Air Research Board(CARB)? Thank you so much for any help. this site is the best! last but not least, I LOVE MY BILSTEIN SHOCKS!!!
