I have your typical 98 xlt 5.0 which I have been working on lately. I drained tranny today, including torque converter. Thinking my pan was leaking at the rear. When refilling, I noticed the leak was still there, seems to be puddling right behind the pan, right before the tranny mount. I have looked all over and can not find the source of the leak, but did notice my mount is completely shot. I can tell that the leak seems to be from the tranny, possibly from the top, and streaming down the side, before it puddles and drips on the crossmember. However, the TC seems to be clean, and without the notorious cracked plug issue. Any ideas would be very helpful, as there isnt much room to spot the issue from underneath.
