Best bet would be call Fox and tell them you have a sport trac and they will give you a part number for the ones that are the proper length. I haven't seen anyone on here with regular Fox shocks. Only a couple with coil overs
well it probably would differ with the coilover since the whole truck's suspension will be riding on those shock towers. one skinny stem bolt i wouldn't believe would hold the truck up, especially for the abuse that some people give their trucks. thats the reason for brackets and hoops, to distribute the load evenly across the frame with no weak points. but that is my .02 so that is something you would have to ask the shock builder. i ordered mine from nick kellar at orw. as far as valving goes its difficult to dial in for our trucks and if lifted with torsion bars the shocks would hardly extend anyway. atleast in the front. I'm trying to dial in my kings up front and my fox's now. honestly for the money you could get the rancho 9000's with the myride controller and have much more ride quality options to choose from for less than a standard fox shock. you can however get the ride adjusters for fox and kings but they cost around $100+ per shock and thats with a remote resivoir. also the mounts cost around $40 more per shock. sometimes i wish i got the 9000's but i plan to get ride adjusters since i already have the fox's anyway.
I'll try and post pics of the mounts.
No problem. I mean for the money you can get 4 rancho 9000's with myride controller for the same price of 2 fox shocks with piggybacks. Even if you don't get the myride controller, you still get the ride adjusters you just manually have to change it instead of using the controller. And that's even less money you would have to spend. Seems pretty cool if you ask me.
