Bought some tires for our Explorer and did a TT in the front. I also did some grinding to get them to fit. Buh bye half of the fender liner, side skirts, and some metal in the fenders.

Tires are 32x10.50 Kumho M/T and the wheels are 15x8" Eagle 589s. Now I'm just waiting on the stuff for the back to show up so I can stop looking like a dog dragging its tail around (stuff should be here by next weekend).

Sorry there's only pavement queen pics, but the poor truck is currently one wheel drive because the front shaft is out and the rear diff clutches are dead and I have the one wheel peel! Can't wait to get AWD back and go find some muuuuuuuddddd!

Now to buy the 4.56s, cam, and RRs, but it will probably be a while since funds are limited. :)

Looks awesome!! Much better. Look's like Jefe's truck in-the-making. :D

Is that just a TT or did you do shackles too? I know you said you were waiting on stuff for the rear but thought you might be doing another leaf. Thats the same thing i want to do but I'm worried about the little bit of sag looking worse with a taller tire.

Pat.. after I put 32s on.. the butt sag was horrible. Even with shackles...
So I had to add Add-a-leafs too.

Good luck!

Thanks guys!

At the moment it's just a TT.

I have 13120 AAL in the mail from Summit. I'm going to see what I get out of that first, and if it's not enough then I may try a double AAL or (more likely) shackles.

looks awesome, i wanna do a similar setup if i get an ex (hopefully this week). you're saying the only type of lift u have is the TT?
sorry, i don't know anything about lifting a truck but i really like how yours looks.

Looks real nice

What kind of backspacing you got on those rims if you know....? Looks awesome!

Thanks! And you are correct--in the pics it has TT on the front only--rear is completely stock.

15 x 8", 3.25" BS. :)

I really like that look - thumbs up

Your truck looks really nice  It'll look even better with the AAL

How much did the tires/rims set you back? That's exactly the look I want to go for with my X!

Tires ran $500 to the door from www.tirerack.com and the wheels I found on here used for $200 to the door.

So all in all with mounting, about $750. Not too bad, I think!

That looks nice. Let's see it diiiirty!

That looks sweet!!
I wish I would have gotten those tires instead of my ProComps- much cheaper
They look awesome on your ex!
Well done:D

How much lift did you get out of the TT ? I did mine and only got a inch and half. I think im going to go get some 265/75/16's today since it looks like they'll fit pretty good, I just wanted to make sure you're not one of those people that somehow got like 3 inches out of a TT.
Thanks

I got exactly 1 1/2" with the bolt bottomed out.
