Does anyone know of a write up of whats involved with this? I think I can save a few bucks on regearing if I take it out and put it back myself.
Is it basically removing the axles and driveshaft and taking all the bolts on the housing out? How much work is involved in getting the axles out?

Well this is what I just got done doing. I am installing a locker. What a PITA. I basicaly unbolted the entire driver side axle beam with radius arm. There is a bolt hidden inside the driver side RA that helps to hold the third member in from behind.

instead of dimanteling the beam you can grind out a ntoch in the rad arm so you can slide the bolt in and out and get an impact gun on it.

Well I thought about that but I have extended RA's and I don't want to do anything to risk the integrity of the arms.
