Front and rear speaker help

Won 2 pairs of Rockford FRC 3205 5 1/4s off ebay and want to install them into my Ex. I could have some mdf adapters made up but would keeping the stock speaker basket thats filled with some fill material sound better or would just having them mounted to the adapter(free air) be okay? Trying to keep it budget but sound good.I will be running them off a 4 channel amp. Also whats the cheapest route for crossovers for the coaxials(caps, bass blockers)? freq response is 40-22khz and amp hi filters are set at 150hz. Thanks

I would just use the MDF baffels. Those speakers a designed to run free air.
