Just spoke to my local ford dealer and they reckon that the drop links for the front ARB are £15 each side all in give or take some change..

I'm getting a callback in the morning to confirm...

It's part of the Front Anti-Roll Bar (ARB) it drops down to the lower arm and helps to stop the car rolling like a boat..

which at the moment it does..

Well,

Got a call from Ford this morning... £33 all in for both sides and they'll be in tomorrow... very impressed.

Well, due to the top of the drops being snapped off, I had to cut them off with an angle grinder..

I'm not very confident with an angle grinder so I carefully took my time, and an hour later I'd got the old ones off and the new ones on.

Fitting the new ones is really easy once the old ones are off. Just a 16mm and a 15mm socket and that's it really.

I did notice that I've got a dark fluid leak from the steering rack area where the steering column goes into the rack... hope it's not too serious!

Well, did a nice road test and the handling is improved a millionty times..

It's gone from handling like an old range rover to how an explorer should.

So I'm happy again

no idea.. probably all the stupid speedbumps around here.. I noted they were snapped when I got my new tyres fitted just before xmas..

Oh well, all sorted now...
