I went to purchase new rotors and was asked what my front axle ratio is - i'm told that in 93 w/ abs it makes a difference.

can someone please help me?

thx

There should be a tag on the front axle that should contain information for determining the gear ratio. Haven't messed with it before, but a good manual should tell you how to decode the tag.
If it's 4WD and nobody's messed with it, the front axle ratio should be the same as the rear axle ratio. Rear axle ratio is encoded on it's tag at the start of the second line (3 73 = 3.73 gear ratio).
Finally, gear ratio is also encoded on the sticker on the door jamb. I know people have posted decode lists in the past.

Here is the link to decode your door sticker for the code:

I don't see the relelvency of the ratio with the brake rotors. When I replaced mine all they needed to know was it was a '93 with ABS. They only had to options 1st Gen with ABS or 1st Gen without ABS.
