Sorry I forgot to post pics when I finally figured it out. They are crappy and the truck was dirty but I think you can see that its holding up very well.

Disregard that, was on the way to the JY and my Ex just decided to be grumpy today as my fuel pump, starter and battery took a crap today all in one hit and found a small crack in my driver's side valve cover by the oil filler neck. So the bumper will have to wait as I got the new starter in and battery but now the fuel pump will be tomorrow.

delexploder, the pics looks good. Another reason why I wanna do the swap. How long did it take you to do the swap?

Its only four bolts and the two plugs for the foglights. Id say maybe half an hour to swap out and about the same to paint.

Was looking at some pictures of the fog lights and what not on LMC truck's parts catalog. The round fog lights bolt up to the same holes as the rectangle fog lights?

No the brackets for the lights stay on the bumper just undo the two bolts per side where the bumper meets the frame and the two plugs for the lights and that's it here are pics of my mounty I just swapped its bumper also

That looks good man, I like that alot. I like how it matches the molding on your doors as well. Very sharp man. But for some reason I guess I'll understand it more with the bolts that meet the frame once I do the bumper swap eventually after I get this damn motor swapped. But yeah def like the look of that bumper.

Now that my Ex is up and running again, I was looking on LMC and it shows an impact bar that goes behind the bumper. Did you guys need this? Plus delexploder, is yours the black or gray? I can't tell on my laptop screen so that's why i'm asking as well. I want to get one like yours without the openings for the chrome fog light covers.

All the parts shown as far as structure in the lmc pics are part of the bumper, if you are grabbing one from a salvage yard it will all be together, the bumper on my sport was faded grey with chrome corners that's the one I painted black, the one on the mounty is gloss grey and smooth it came off a 99 or 2000 black sport with the big flares, the one on my sport came from a 2001 Eddie B

Man you got a whole family of them. Any pics of them so I can see which one I like better so I can finally make a decision on which one to get. Thanks if you can.

Just the pics on this page, the first one of my mounty is with the old bumper which someone had painted black .

I also have a 2000 Eddie B and my little brothers 97 5.0 xlt , Hi my name is Charles and im an exploraholic and its only been about 10 min since I touched one of my explorers

Lmao, nice yeah I'm looking at getting a 97 Mountaineer 5.0 soon to jack up 3 inches and also do the bumper swap as well. Love the the look with the round clear fog lights

Do any of you guys know if a brush guard will still fit with the air deflector that goes with the bumper with the round fog lights? Hate to buy it and then it not fit.
