Is there any way to adjust the front camber on the stock suspension ? or will the install of the new upper ball joints that ive had done sort out the slight wear thats been happening on the inside 1/3 of the front tyres ?

Thanks
Si

Hi fcat,
I'm doing mine in the next few weeks because some stupid woman crashed into my front right wheel !!!!!!.
Last year, I had mine all apart to paint. There are adjuster cams, and I marked mine so they went back in the same location.
When standing in front of the Ex, the right wheel looks to have more camber. I've just bought an inclinometer so I can set it to the same as the left.
If you can wait a while, I'll let you know how I get on.
Mines an early 97 model, and I'm sure I've read somewhere, that later models didn't have adjustment. Might be worth a check.
Kev.

cheers, been looking online and it says the camber cant be adjusted (unless you add the new camber bolts) so i guess i'll wait and see if adding the new balljoints has altered it in any way. Cheers for the offer Kevin, i'll be in the USA for 4 weeks in a weeks time so might pick some camber bolts up there.

so i guess i'll wait and see if adding the new balljoints has altered it in any way.

When i bought my ex it had some wear inside edge on one front tyre. I changed the completely sloppy ball joint on that side and no more uneven wear. Also had this on my saab 9000. Also worth saying that after suspension/steering refreshment, tracking at the least should be done.
:salute:

Edit: Mine was lower ball joint but in priciple play in the top could have the same result.

Cool, cheers, will keep an eye on it.
