Hi, My '91 with auto hubs clunks when turning fairly sharp. I just ran it on the hoist and took off both front wheels. No clunks. Did the ball joints and control arm bushings last spring so replaced everything that was worn.U joints on both axles are ok, Diff. looked OK to this backyard mech. I also get a clunk when coming to a full stop and again when accelerating from the stop like a control arm bushing worn out, but everything is tight. Any suggestions would be appreciated. (this is my first 4X4) Jim

did you look at your radius arm bushings?

Yes I replaced the radius arm bushings, mistakingly called them control arm bushings(just did them on my 53 Desoto)

Look inside the hubs themselves? I got a clunking in one of my hubs and found that a bolt snapped in half.
