well its alot to GEt it repaired, but only about 10 bucks for the seal.... just as long as there is fuilid in there your ok.... mines damp... but i check it here and there to see if i need fluid....

can me and a friend do it ourselves?

if you know what you are doing.... where is it leaking from? the diff seal is going to require dropping the diff...and shouldnt be attempted by a regular handyman if you dont know what you are doing.....

yeah its jsut a *****... you gotta drop everything.

I just did this yesterday, the seals for both sides cost about $20 a pair from napa w/ a discount. It wasnt bad to drop everything to pull the diff out. Took me about 1/2 a day to get it out with 2 people. I would not recommend doing it unless you have a big tool collection because it took alot.
