i have a 01 xlt... auto 4wd you know the works... anyways, when i go to pull out from a dead stop all 4 wheels are pulling, well my front drive shaft is making all sorts of noise. its a clanging noise. ive located it im pretty sure. its where the drive shaft goes into the transfer case. now its not like a normal u-joint... how exactly does it go together right there and would it hurt anything if i just took out the front shaft till the weekend when i have time to work on it? would it spit out a seal or would i lose fluid out of my t-case? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
