Front end conversion? Axle? Sheet metal? Grill? Headlights? tires?

Ok, I'm gonna start you off easy... Type "front end conversion" in the nice, conviniently place search bar at the top of this forum. Then hit SEARCH. Then start to browse the threads that come up on the subject. After you have spent a few hours doing this, then come back here and ask anything you haven't already learned...

I think he basically means a visual front end conversion. As far as visual goes , the front clip from a 95-01 explorer will line up with the 94 body , also the first gen sport trac will line up as well, also mazda navajo parts too. The front ends will visually line up as far as body lines go but they will not bolt on , for any proper front end swap the whole firewall has to be replaced.

I think there are a few fiberglass conversions for a 2nd gen front end. Rick and Dannyboy both have them.

what makes it necessary to replace the firewall?
