well guys i got a couple questions. i'm looking in2 buying another vehicle weeeeeee. well this ones a 91'explorer 4x4. it has a weird grind noise in the front end when driving down the road. but what can it be. is it even worth it buying it. or would it be 2 much hassle 2 fix it and be a jipp.and it's 4x4 isn't working cuz of some fuse went out. fill me in.

Does it still have autohubs? That would be your best bet. After that I would probably take a look at the wheel bearings and maybe u-joints.

well the automatic hubs were taken off by whoever owned it before:eek: |?!?!? and the drived shafts were taken off i don't know why though. one more thing there's only 2 driveshafts on a 4x4 explorer isn't there? the one 2 the rear axle and the one to the fron ttb. cause there was a third aluminum shaft looking thing in the back:confused: . well c'mon guys i'm interested in this truck so i can once again have a ford to off road in. all i got is a jeep and i ain't no jeepster. lol well thanks
