Looks like the front end problem I was having turned out to be the steering knuckle U-joints that come out of the axle. They were frozen in place. The truck would lock in one direction or the other. Turns out my steering pump wasn't leaking, just the Pittman arm seal. This is a 91 Exploder with 106000 on it Thanks for the advice. Hope this helps anyone else who might have this problem.
