Front Gear Replacement Cost?

I've been thinking about getting a 95+ rear axle with disks and 3.73s since my acceleration is lackluster with 3.27s and 31s. I also figured the disk brakes wouldn't hurt...

Anybody know about how much a gear swap in the front end would cost? Thanks

Here in Vegas I was quoted around $500 just for the labor. Another $600 to $700 for gears and an Auburn. The front has to be torn completely down. In my opinion you should replace everything that needs attention (ie pivot bushings etc.) Hope you can find it for less.

I paid $550 for my 4.56 gears to get installed in the front. Thats parts and labor. Desert Rat Offroad Truck Center in Tempe, AZ.
