front hitch pictures

i have only seen pictures of front hitches on a truck, does anyone have pictures of one before they put it on? im lookin to "make one" but just for tow hooks. TIA!

*edit* or does anyone have pictures and measurments of the mounting brackets on & off the truck.

I will shortly have a 3" BL. I'm wondering how this will affect the front hitch and trying to install it?

the hitch wont move... will basically be a frame crossmember.... just way below the bumper if you lift the bumper along with the body

Ok but I've seen them where they come out of the hole in the bumper. I assume you mean that it will be below the entire bumper similar to what most rear hitches look like?

Any way to buy a different one or mod it to be right. I'm unfortunately not a welder

I will take a look at my supervisor's Ex (98 4-door) and talk to him tomorrow to see how his front hitch mounts; and see if he has a digital camera (or someone else, near-by) to get some photos of how it mounts.


I've thought of taking it off of his Ex, without him knowing (I think it would take him a year to even notice it missing!!)
