I have had the same question... I think that it probably depends on the width of the hitch vrs. the width of the vertical support bars on the brush guard. You may want to pick out a specific brush guard and do research on it.
yes.. i know of 2 folks that did this. one was "bluesteel" i think. i forget the other. my front hitch mounts via the bottom of the frame rails. a brushguard i had looked at once mounted to the sides.. i wouldn't have had any problems.
you can fit them both if you buy the manik brush guard. i don't have any other familiarity with the mounts on any of the other brush guards so i couldn't tell you if the others work. the trick is to mount your front hitch first, then your brushguard. if you do it in the reverse order you'll never get the hitch in. good luck!
