Where are you putting your jackstands and jack in the front for a safe lift? The frame is tracked by the torsion bars, the bottom of the control arm is an irregular shape, and the tab for the factory jack on the control arm does not look stable. I was thinking either the holes in the front crossmember or under the control arm bushings.

I typically jack by the front cross member and place the stands under the hooks on the lower control arms since they are, in fact, meant for jacking the vehicle. If I only need to lift one wheel, I lift by the hook... been doing it for a decade with nary an issue (so far).

You could just as easily use the cross member as a support point... However my jack stands are too large and interfere with the jack when I lift from that cross member.

A third option is to use the factory lift points as outlined in the owner's manual. I've done it that way, but IMHO, it puts the stands too far rearward for my liking. Just makes me nervous having them so far back...

There are body mounts somewhere near the front doors, that's where I place my jackstands...
