- '93 Eddie Bauer
Hello-
I recently bought a '93 Eddie Bauer. I want to jack up the front end to do some work underneath. The manual says to place the jack directly under the shock. OK. But where is a safe place to put the jackstand?
More: I want to use a floor jack, but mine only has a 14-inch reach. When I jack under the shock as instructed, at maximum height my jack barely gets the tire two inches off the ground. Is there a safe jacking point closer to the ground that I can use, so I can place the jackstand under the shock?
Thank you for any knowledge you can impart or photos you can post.
