front lug bolts

i bought a 91 explorer the other day and as i was checking things out i noticed three lug nuts missing and the treads were tfu after i got the tire off (easy with just two lug bolts) i noticed the slid in brake pad holders were missing as well. is it difficult to replace the lug bolts? i know to put them on i slip the bolt in and add some washers and tighten them up but are they easy to get out with the 4 wd? and wher should i buy them, i will replace all five and the lug nuts as well.

You can hammer out the old studs. This shows a 2wd, but it's the same procedure:

Definitely a good time to clean and repack the wheel bearings too.

Having done this, I do recommend the Lisle installation tool. It has ball bearings that eliminate friction from the equation, and allow the stud to be pulled in more easily with less stress on the threads.
