When it rains it pours! 
Well - I'm trying to get the 3rd member swapped out today (glad it's a long weekend) and I ran into a problem:
The passenger-side axle shaft is supposed to come apart at the boot (where the stub shaft meets) after removing the spindle assembly from the steering knuckle (emphasis on SUPPOSED to come apart). I have about 3/4" of play, but it does not want to finish coming apart. Anyone ever run into this problem? I would love to get an answer relatively quickly so I don't have to listen to my wife complain about not getting the garage tonight!
