I have just noticed that the front passenger door on my ex is harder to open then the front driver side door. It kind of feels like the lock is getting stuck on something then letting go. There is a little bit of damage to the striker plate. It seems as though the door is sitting a little too low. Does anyone know if the dealer could easily adjust this? maybe loosen a few bolts and do some kind of adjustment? I don't want to open up pandora's box.

Any accident history on that side? Maybe you have a broken hinge pin. Or a loose hinge bracket. They should be able to repair and realign without much issue and under warranty if you still have. Maybe the factory forgot to torque a bolt or 2.

Has it always been this way or just recently? I would recommend a dealer visit.

Honestly, I am not really sure. I use the passenger door extremely rarely. I will definitely bring this to my dealer's attention next time I go in for an oil change or something. Thanks Peter.
