1966 XLT - the passenger window does not work. All other windows are ok. Ther has been no motor noise so it appears it is a power problem. I removed the door panel and tried to test the switch. I could not measure voltage from any of the terminals on the switch. According to the autozone wiring diagram, the black wire should be hot. There is a good chance I don't know what the heck I am doing, but it makes sense to me that there is no power to the switch. That's where I stopped because I couldn't figure out where to go next if there really is a loose, broken wire/connection. Also there is a plastic sheet behind the door panel covering the window mechanism. I'm not sure that can be removed without destroying it and don't know if it can be replaced. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am having a similar problem and would be very interested in a solution...

congratulations... you have the oldest ex on the forum... "1966 XLT"... wiring is probably decayed... :-) actually that's your problem... you have a break in the R/LB wire either at the passenger door or the driver's door post area as this is how you get voltage to your window motor.
