Front wipers pause, early Explorers

'92 XLT
On my 92 xlt, the front wipers pause sometimes when their in the interval position, they never fail in low or high. They move up about 4 inches from the park position pause for a while, then does one swipe and does the same thing again. They appear to be fixing themselves because this is happenning less and less, but you never know...

Anyone had this problem on an earlier explorer.

it is probably a partial power thing and probably no need for a lot of concern. if they aint broke dont fix it. who knows you may end up not having any wipers if you try and fix them (murphy's law)
 






My 91 Escort does that, mostly when I'm braking. There is a slight pause in the wipers. I too think it is just a power drain thing and have never worried about it
