Hi I have a ford explorer xlt 6v sohc , and i think it consumes too much fuel about 5 kilometers per litre of gas octane 92... is it normal or what could be the problem please , thank you all...
That comes out to about 11.5 miles per gallon. I have a 2000 E.B. 4.0 SOHC and have 125,000 miles on it and I average 16-18 miles per gallon.
I guess that comes out to about 7.3 Kilometers per liter.
is the check engine light on? do you drive with a heavy foot? is the vehicle complete stock or do you have aggressive tires on it or other mods? does it feel like it has "normal" power and is running good? is this freeway mileage or city driving?
