I have a 2009, the fuel filler neck is not closing tight enough to keep the gas vapors in the tank, this throws a check engine light, the same light as the gas cap issue, but instead of buying a new gas cap you have to replace the filler neck.The only way to fix the problem is to replace the filler neck. To fix the issue the local dealership wants $500 to fix it. I have ordered a new filler neck online that is 50% of the cost from the dealer.
My question is, has anyone replaced the filler neck on a 2008+.
