Fuel filter tool

It didn't come with the new filter.

You can get it at any automotive store. Get the metal tool not the plastic as they are junk. Moving to the "Under the Hood & Driveline" section of the forum unless this is truly an emergency.

I just bought some pack of plastic ones from Shucks that had like 5 or 6 different sizes for $12, it was one of these packages that was just tagboard with molded plastic stapled to it so i used the tool i needed then put it in the dishwasher put the pack back together and got my 12 bucks back. i think its a ripoff that you have to buy a special tool for this kind of thing. by the way the plastic one worked fine for me.

i bought the metal one. it was only like $5. but make sure you buy the right one since my 96 took a special size... what i did is i bought it took it outside and measured it to see if it fit. first one didn't (was too big and wouldn't fit the bell housing) took it back inside and got the right one..for 5 buck it wasn't to bad. got it at an Orielly's auto parts. it was maroon in color i beieve.

I got the plastic set which has 6 in it for $9 at Sears hardware with my employee discount.. these are nice because they work on fuel line quick disconnects AND air conditioning quick disconnects...
