Ive read some people having problems with the fuel filter disconnect tools.
I totaly understand, they are junk..I bought one, scissor type from my local auto parts store(made in china)..
the problem i ran into was the tool did not fit correctly onto the line..this tool should fit tightly onto the line so it can enter the disconnect with a zero tolerance fit. mine want even close. so i took a 5/16 drill bit, placed the tool in the closed posion on my vise and drilled out the hole to make a better fit. after i did that it fit on the line perfectly and i was abe to disconnect the line and take my fuel shower with ease..
i hope this helps..
