Fuel gauge issues

2022 platinum Fuel gauge fluctuations from 68 miles to empty to two min later to 4 miles to empty.
Immediately got gas and only took 12.5 gallons. Also as I’m driving mile to empty would go down 40 or 60 miles
To it to ford dealer because I had an oil change scheduled told them about it but they couldn’t find any “codes” or any other indication of the issue.
Ran it thru google fond 3 responses but no obvious fix
Suggestions were obvious, fuel pump, sending switch, level sending, debris in tank,
Anyone have any real fixes

All readings on level ground, or have their been hills involved?

The miles to empty is constantly recalculating. If you’re referring to the actual gauge that shows how full the tank is that’d be be a fuel sender issue.

Is your vehicle still under warranty? If yes, make sure the dealer makes a note of the issue for future reference.

You might try putting some Techron "Complete" fuel system cleaner in the next tank of gas. It's supposed to have an additive that helps clean the sending unit fuel level sensor. I agree with others that it may just be a computer calculation or level ground issue but the Techron isn't very expensive.
