Fuel injection cleaner

I am a new X owner and I have been asking alot of question as some of you may have noticed. I am just excited I love the truck already. Anyway do any of you recomend using those add to the gas tank fuel injection cleaners just to keep things running good? If so which ones are best? My truck is a '00 SOHC with 73,000 miles on it. Lots of miles but in great shape otherwise. Thanks much for help.

It can't hurt. Every oil change on most vehicles is a good rule of thumb. However IMO if you're running 87 you don't need to run it that often, every 5 thousand is fine, though I've found it does help to run it 2 tanks in a row.

If you have a chip and are using 91 or 93 then every 3000. If you don't have a chip you should be using 87.

I have found that the effects are only short term when using those fuel additives. Kind of a waste of money in my opinion.

I have seen benefits in every family vehicle, especially those running premium.
