fuel problems

I heard a guy bragging about how he hasn't changed his oil in 60,000 miles. "The thing is still running". Thats pretty cool. I guess.

I wouldnt brag about not doing maintenance on a vehicle. that is shortening the life span of the truck...most def

I was mocking someone from where I work (though It wasn't the first time I heard that kind of thing). On maintenance procedures I have OCD. I just hope that this OP will come to a conclusion and save them some money.

If you have 6 wires on you MAF harness instead of 4 your IAT is in there also.

Don't know about the most def part. I know a guy a 1/2 ton with a 300 that NEVER changes the oil. Top it off yeah but a change for get it. The truck has 260,000miles on it. Only maintenance done was PCV,radiator clutch and u joints. I know because It's my Dad's truck and I did the repairs to it. I'm all for regular changes and using synthetics and i think he does it just to spite me. That truck runs damn good though.

ok....so i checkerd the fuel pressure and its not bad. i thought it might be the fuel pump but the pressure is coming out to just a little below spec.

If it is below spec it is weak. It will only keep going lower.

fixed!!!!!
