Fuel pump problem.

I have a 1991 ford explorer. The fuel pump works when it is hot outside not frist thing in the moring when it is cooler
 






Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread to the stock 91-94 section. It could be the fuel pump or possibly the fuel pump relay.
 






I'd start with replacing the fuel pump relay. Very easy and cheap fix. Replacing the fuel pump would be the very last thing to do.
