First off, hello everyone.. im new here.
So yea, while i was driving my 1991 ford explorer the truck turned off without warning. after checking multiple things and replacing the fuel pump and filter we saw that the fuel relay switch was not working properly and the fuse was blowing one after the other. Now, i took the EEC IV off and tested the yellow/black wire and there are no problems with that. Im pretty sure, but it looked as if the area where the EEC IV box was has gotten wet in the past.
So i guess my question is, has anyone had these problems before? If so, how did you fix them? Right now the EEC box is sitting on top of my monitor warming up, I am thinking that it's a little wet from the looks of the place it sat in the truck.
