The one thing I noticed was that all the information "backing" the product was collected in the 80's. If there was truly a significant claim to back the product it would have flooded the market long ago. Also, if platinum really had the claimed effect on the properties of gasoline, don't you think the government would have stepped in by now and required the gasoline refineries to implament the addition of it into the gas they sell?

I looked around but i couldnt see a price for it. Platinum anything seems to be expensive so would it be worth it to spend 10 bucks on something to put in your tank to save yourself 2 dollars worth of gas?

I am very skeptical on all this stuff. I read an article about that blausant company that sold a cream that was supposed to make a womens breasts grow and they also sold a male version of the product which made your penis grow. The article was about the settlement and how they have to give back every penny to every customer who bought that crap.

good point mrboyle.

also, if the big three could improve the gas mileage of their vehicles by 22%, i'm sure they would've jumped on this, too. gotta keep up with the ricers, lol.

It's complete BS.
They don't even know what they're selling.

Read their article on Platinum/Rhenium Technology.
What, you can't find it?
That's because the directory lists it as Platinum/Rhodium.
Which I admit could be simply attributed to a clerical error.
But read through it.
Except for the name it doesn't even mention Rhenium.
Then you get to the last 5 paragraphs.
Suddenly Rhodium pops into the picture.
And the last 2 times it's referred to as Platinum/Rhodium Technology.

Every time they talk about the diesel version they mention how it clears up that unsightly smoke cloud by at least half.
I've never seen a diesel that was in proper running order create any smoke.

Even better is how if you inject platinum vapor into the cylinders you will reduce the sulfur content of your diesel and oil!
Well, at least that's what one testimonial said.
Too bad the word sulfur doesn't even appear anywhere else on the site.

Junk, crap, a waste of money, and probably harmful to your engine/emmisions. Did I mention junk?
