I know gas prices are crazy so I was thinking what if you could fill up more of the tank when you find a low price. So, I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of an XL tank for our trucks. Kinda like you see on tv for f250 the titan tanks. I checked they don't have our model.

I am not sure there is one available. There might be some room under there for a slightly larger tank but I would think installing one would throw off your gas guage calibration since it is set up for the 22.5 gal tank.

A cheaper and safe option would be to get some approved 5 gallon gas cans from the hardware store and fill those up when you find cheap gas. Obviously you couldn't drive around with them but if you have a place to store them near where you park your truck then that might work.

true, thanks for the input

Make sure the gas cans are under lock & key-

I know there are some aux tanks for excursions that go where the spare tire goes in the rear of the truck. Most are pretty pricey though because they are tigged aluminum.

that would be cool, and yeah i know det i don't trust even other college kids
