Sooo half way to the lake one of the tires on our flatbed/car carrier exploded/gave up on life... It came apart right in the middle of the tread. The tread its self grabbed the fender and bent it right in, as well as completely taking out the driver side stop/turn light and the licensee plate!! Went looking for the plate and couldn't find it any where 
Also, how nice of people to notice and let us know that our tire was shredding... Oh wait, everyone just flew by... Was going 65 mph on 17 West and a bad shudder started. I though I lost a weight as it wasn't too bad. Then about a 1/3 of the way through it suddenly got violent and this was the result:
We chained up the axle and drove to get gas. Surprisingly the chain hook fell off and the axle was still well above the road. So drove the last 2/3 to the lake which is where our barn is to put away the summer toys / tools.
