Well last week i finnally got enough money from my paycheck to get me some new speakers to replace my stock speakers in my 93 explorer (they are so horrible it's not even worth talking about). So now i'm getting some brand new Infinity's off of Crutchfield. I am getting a really good dead on them because they are like 102.99 at Circuit City right now so by getting them off Cruthfield I'm saving like 40 dollars. Anyways i'm getting Infinity's 6x8's they say it fits it soo I went for the biggest I could put in there and the best I could get for my money. Here is a link to the ones I will be purchasing tonight. I'm getting 2 pairs, 1 for each door obviously.

Post what you think about them. From the reiviews of people they sound great and just what i'm looking for.

From what I've read, no personal experience sorry, don't expect a whole lot of midbass out of many Infinity speakers. If you really want them to sound good I highly suggest sound deadening your doors, it makes a huge difference and is easy to do yourself.
Secondskinaudio.com is a great company to go with on that.

Is this off the stock head unit? adding a small 4 channel or at least an aftermarket head unit will really help them shine just fyi

No experience with Infinity, but I've had two sets of Pioneer 6x8's in my truck with factory stereo and Xplod stereos. I've used 2-way and 3-way speakers. The 2-ways were good, the 3-ways give you more highs and sound great with subs.
