I have future plans to put the Explorer Pro Comp 3'' Spindle kit on my Explorer. My problem is, I have the wonderful mono-leaf rearend. I am not exactly looking for the full 3" in the rear, to match the front, I like the pre-runner look. What is my best option. I am looking for something soft. I am running the Pro Comp ES9000 all around now, but will be running the ES3000, a softer shock, with the new kit. Let me know what my best option is. Because I am getting mixed readings from threads I have read. Thanks.

You can throw some 4-door leafs in there. I think that'll give you only 2" of lift. And once you throw the spindles up front, you can adjust your torsion bars to get the stance you want (then get an alignment :D ).

HaHa Ya I have got my bars at like 1" maybe 1 1/2" and it looks good and rides nice. Where can i get my hands on some 4-Door leaf springs? Oh and the alignment, thats a must. Thanks for the input.

What about some shackles in the rear.

Also there is a all ford junkyard type place in Anahiem right next to Currie Enterprise. You might be able to find some rear leaf packs there.
Or try Deaver in Santa Ana they make all kinds of leaf packs for explorer any where from packs with little to no lift to packs with 6" of lift and they also make prerunner and race packs that allow a lot of travel to come out of the rear.

I dont know about shakles. I want leafs not just my mono leaf. So all I need are 2nd Gen. 4 Door Leaf Springs.

Yes thats all you need is 2nd gen 4 door leafs
