What does it take? I have already bought 2 and neither one fit. In my 98 X, I have an overhead console. It has a place for a garage door opener in it and I have tried to get one that fits, but with no luck. So I thought I would ask yall. Have you found one that fits? I have a Sears craftsman garage door opener is that makes a difference.

Thanks,

You should be able to get them all to work. You take the metal clip off, stick the opener up there with the velcro, and position the white lego type pieces over the button. I have a Craftsman opener and it works fine.

My 04, has it built into the overhead. But if you are looking for a small one, go to Sears. I got one there called a Skylink. You open the back, set up a code, ( you do not want to use it the way it comes). Program in to your opener. It is about; 2.5" by 1.25 " .
